In the midst of her corporate career, Dana attended Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in Philadelphia to explore her passion for beauty and as a result, created a business she loves and grows each and every day.
Dana is a seasoned writer with articles and interviews featured on websites and in print publications such as Philly Chit Chat, Career Builder, LovetoKnow.com, The Street.com, CareFair.com, CNN.com, WebMD.com, PhillyMag.com, The Legal Intelligencer, The Press of Atlantic City and the South Philly Review. She has been featured in radio interviews on WHYY (NPR) and Brandywine Radio’s Chamber Chatter.
Dana currently works directly with many of her bridal clients, still doing much of the makeup work herself. Along the way, she has been a makeup artist for NBC’s 10! Show and also a lead makeup artist with Philadelphia Fashion Week. She is a freelance makeup artist with HDNet’s concert series, working with Gavin Rossdale and the band Bush as well as Ted Nugent. Dana has worked with Heather Blaine Mitts, an American former professional soccer defender and a three-time Olympic gold medalist and member of the U.S. women’s national team.
Dana’s background as a senior public relations executive has afforded her the opportunity to work on both national and international accounts, traveling the world with only one goal in mind—managing, pleasing and serving her clients. An earlier career in corporate branding and marketing taught Dana how creating a strong image can help to take a product or service to the next level. An expert in personal image consulting, skincare, bridal styling and all things beauty, Dana has mastered the art of transformation and brings this talent to every one of her “beautiful brides.”
